• How does your booking procedure work?

We like to keep things as straightforward as possible. Once you have your date and venue confirmed, and we have confirmed our availability, we just need a £50 deposit to secure your booking.

• When do I need to make the final payment?

We ask for the final balance to have been settled no later than 4 weeks before the event.

• A song that I want isn't on your repertoire list. Are you able to play it?

Absolutely! We are always happy to make new additions to our repertoire. We just need to know the details no later than 2 months before your wedding, so that we have time to source the sheet music, adapt it for string quartet and rehearse it. Our ceremony packages include up to 2 new songs.

• How much do you charge for new repertoire additions?

If you’ve booked us to play for your ceremony, we’d be happy to learn up to 2 new songs for no extra charge. If you’ve only booked the drinks reception, or you would like us to learn extra new songs, we can do that for £40 per song (for the quartet) or £10 per song (for a solo violinist).

• I'm getting married in a church, and we haven't booked an organist. Are you able to play the hymns?

We are more than happy to play the hymns, as well as the other ceremony items. That's all included in the price. 

• In your pictures and videos, it isn't always the same 4 people. How many of you are there?

All of our members are in demand as professional musicians. Therefore we have a small pool of 8 regular players, to ensure availability! We also have a small team of extras who we can call on in case of illness etc, so that we never have to cancel a booking.
